Introduction
In the landscape of global commodities and logistics, the integrity of information is as vital as the movement of goods. AIGT Trade (referred to as "the Firm", "we", or "AIGT") operates with a mandate of absolute transparency regarding how we handle the sensitive commercial and personal data of our trade partners.
By utilizing our exchange platforms, network interfaces, or logistics portals, you entrust us with information that enables global trade. This policy serves as our commitment to safeguarding that trust through rigorous technical and administrative protocols.
This policy applies to visitors to our public website, registered counterparties, logistics partners, and anyone who communicates with us about commodities, financing, or compliance. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and any written contract that governs a specific transaction.
Where local law grants you additional rights—for example, the EU/UK GDPR, UAE PDPL (Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021) and related decisions, DIFC/ADGM data protection rules where applicable, or U.S. state privacy laws—we will honor those requirements to the extent they apply to our processing activities. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit mandatory rights that cannot be waived.
Roles & responsibility
Depending on the relationship, we may act as a data controller for business contact and account data, or as a processor when we handle information strictly on your instructions under a services agreement. When we process on your behalf, we implement contractual safeguards and subprocessors only where permitted and documented.
Data Collection
Institutional Identity
Entity names, tax identifiers, trade licenses, and authorized personnel credentials required for regulatory compliance.
Transaction Metadata
Commodity specifics, shipping manifests, destination coordinates, and financial clearing instructions.
We collect data directly from your interactions with our trade desk and automatically through our secure digital architecture. This includes IP addresses, terminal identifiers, and session dynamics to prevent unauthorized exchange access.
We may also receive information from banks, insurers, inspection agents, and public registries when those parties are involved in a trade you authorize. We do not seek to collect sensitive categories of personal data unless strictly necessary for compliance (for example, sanctioned-party screening) and where law allows.
Retention follows operational need and legal obligation: contract and trade records are kept for the period required by tax, customs, and anti–money-laundering rules; marketing or optional inquiries are kept only as long as relevant to the conversation unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we have no overriding duty to retain.
International transfers
Because we operate across regions, data may be stored or accessed in countries other than where you are located. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or your explicit consent for specific transfers described at the time of collection.
"Data is the silent vessel that carries the weight of global commerce."
Usage & Processing
Data processing at AIGT Trade is strictly limited to the operational requirements of international commerce. We do not engage in the third-party sale of trade intel.
Lawful bases may include contract performance, legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and network security), legal obligation, and, where applicable, consent for optional communications or cookies. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior processing that was lawful at the time.

Financial Settlement
Processing secure wire instructions and credit facility data via encrypted ledger systems.
We may share information with professional advisers, auditors, and regulators when required, and with service providers who host infrastructure or deliver communications on our instructions. Those parties are bound by confidentiality and processing terms consistent with this policy.
Automated decision-making, if used for risk scoring, is designed to support human review—not to replace it for outcomes that significantly affect you. You may request explanation or human intervention where required by law.
Sovereign Security Protocol
Our security architecture follows the 'Air-Gap' philosophy for core trade ledgers. We employ AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 for all data in transit. Access is strictly controlled via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and biometric gateways for institutional admins.
We maintain incident response procedures, vendor due diligence, and periodic testing of controls. If a breach poses a risk to individuals, we will notify affected parties and regulators as required by applicable law, and document lessons learned to reduce recurrence.
